EHS Manager – Data Centre Project | Amsterdam, Netherlands
€100,000 – €110,000 + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation 17/4 + €1,000 Living Cost p/m
 

We are currently recruiting an EHS Manager for a leading European data centre delivery partner, working on one of the region’s largest and most advanced hyperscale projects based in Amsterdam.
 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Tier 1 main contractor renowned for delivering world-class mission-critical facilities across Europe. You’ll play a key leadership role in managing environmental, health, and safety performance across all phases of project delivery, ensuring compliance, driving best practice, and embedding a strong safety culture.
 

The Role

• Oversee and implement the company’s Safety Management System on-site.
• Develop and maintain Construction Stage Health & Safety Plans.
• Lead site audits, inspections, and performance reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with EU and local EHS legislation.
• Coordinate risk assessments, method statements, and safe work plans.
• Drive proactive engagement and positive safety culture among staff and subcontractors.
• Manage and mentor site EHS teams.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action plans.
• Report directly to the EHS Lead and Project Director.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience managing EHS on large-scale construction projects.
• Previous data centre or high-tech project experience preferred.
• Excellent working knowledge of EU Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and safety management systems.
• EU Passport or Right to Work in the Netherlands is essential.
